Waz-in-Oz Posted January 1, 2012 Report Share Posted January 1, 2012 Now we found some nice water and the winds were light on and we raced up the Channel to a couple of high tide spots. As you can see it is close quarters fishing with lots of barras in amongst the snags - we caught them on bombers and a lot also on the new to Oz Jackal Transams which over here at $30 a lure and with the only ones being a 20 gram model you can imagine how hard it is throwing them amongst that timber but boy did the Barras love em. The last picture is a cl***ic - a few late nights and big days in the sun and salt certainly take its toll - I took this while we were trolling in the afternoon. Brett and myself actually landed 4 good fish on several p*** over a rock bar while Ramcon had a snooze on the front. I guess that nap was only freshining him up as he got second in the pool comp that night (yours truly won it) but he did win the annual comp for the year. You gotta love it.
