Put boat up for winterization and dealer says that's the way they were all installed and tats the way its going to stay. have to always stand when driving as wheel rotates down but not up. any one having similar problem

slyshon
We do install the tilt helm upside down for a reason. If not the tilt throws too far forward and can damage the flush mounted electronics on the console face plate. The tilt is spring loaded, someone bumps the tilt button and the wheel flies up into the console and breaks screens, cracks fiberglass etc. Skip
BOOMERANG
My 261 was recently delivered with the same issue. We had them flip the helm 180° so it stilts more forward and works out terrific. We do not have an issue with the steering wheel hitting our 1040xs Garmin hope this helps
