Geaux Time
Hey guys, looking to wet a line this weekend (I know, weather/wind will be an issue). It’s my only chance in quite some time. Got the boat running again after some repairs. Anybody hit the St Johns or its tributaries for bass/crappie lately. Particularly interested in the crappie bite. Also, I’ve never been to the stick marsh. Have any of you fished there recently and if so, how’s the bite? Thanks in advance. Scott
Shallowminded6
You ever end up going? I want to start hitting garcias, stick marsh and blue cypress some especially the crappie bite.
Geaux Time
I did end up going way back in January. Went to stick marsh. Weather was awful with wind blowing out of the E/SE 20-25kts. I had a little window to go and get the boat out so I went anyway. Certainly not optimal conditions. Caught a small sac-au-lait and a catfish. Used minnows and jigs. I'll go again this fall and winter on a better day when the bite is on.
