Jorgerivadeneira
im planning on taking off the caulk on my center console to redo it as it is already yellowing and getting old. Im sure that the original caulk was not actually white, but maybe an oyster white? i tried using a white caulk and it was way too bright. Might anyone know what kind of caulk i could use? Thanks! HoneyB
I’m no pro but I did some caulk work on my friends Key West. I used the life caulk product and changed it to black. It looked really sharp. Also learned how to put down a nice bead of caulk during the process. Turns out you should push the caulk line rather than pull it. It makes a huge difference. You may already know this.
mulligan
When I did mine awhile back I used plan old silicone caulk figuring I was just sealing and not bonding anything. I has held up good so far. The color I used was almond, I think, and it matched the off white of my deck almost perfectly. I have seen some use black as HoneyB said and that looks really sharp too and you don't have to worry about seeing any dirt with the black.
