Reel Special 3
Sea Claw anchors are sized by weight and not physical dimensions. Which weight Sea Claw anchor will fit in the anchor locker of a 2008 2200 Pathfinder XL? There 12 lb anchor has two options for the cross bar a 14 in. and an 18 in. or do I need the 18 lb anchor. Mostly fish inshore with power pole or in 20 ft of water off Sanibel for tarpon. Thanks for your help.
SCFD rtrd.
Can't specifically answer you questing, but I use a 12 lb. Sea Claw for my 23 hps. I fish pretty much the same water as you and do not use any chain. I prefer to have my anchor lying on the floor of my anchor locker, so I cut the cross bars down to about 4" per side. If you want to hang your anchor in the provided tray, you can get the 18" cross bar, you can always cut off what you don't need.

brune90
Looks like 18 is the way to go.

I used a Saw-Zaw with metal blade, then a grinder to round/smooth the sharp edges.
