Bigfish123
Hello, I’m iso a 18 hpx, I figured that I would start a topic on how does this boat performs with 4 people on the boat? Preferably with a 115. Thank you for any responses.
dabear
I have fished with my grand children and wife , I enjoy my 18 HPX best with two people fishing , we can fish three if all three are synchronized with each other . This is a fantastic shallow water fishing boat but in my opinion this isn’t the boat to fish four people in . The HPX 18 is well balanced with two people rides and fishes fantastic with two . If you want to fish four you may want to look for a heavier wider boat .
Bigfish123
Thanks for the info and reply dabear. I currently fish up to 3 people “plus me” along with the current boat that I own.
fin-addict
If normally fishing four I would look into a 22 pathy with at least a 150 which is the norm. Most are running 200+. Vmax or a sho would be my choice. MA’s are fantastic running boats if looking to stay with flats. Jmo, fin
