rubble
I received an ACR ResQLink+ for Christmas two years ago. Looks like I still have some time with the battery (Expires in 2013) but the beacon registration sticker says it expires 12/25/19. What exactly is that and do I need to renew or is there a different number I need to register.
soflah3
Hope that is a typo regarding battery experation. You will be getting an email from NOAA if you are the original owner / register. You can sign on and renew here if you don't get a email https://beaconregistration.noaa.gov/RGDB/index;jsessionid=UffEZnEC0l6N3qUfV-M4H4gd.d04b237f-cb0a-3610-8173-2835738abf00
Limitless
A heads up on battery replacement: if you send back to England or where ever, the cost is around $250 (if I remember right). But there is now a company that will replace at a much more reasonable price -- https://beaconbatteryreplacement.com/. I have an older Mcmurdo that I am sending them to have new batteries put in I'll post how it goes when it's done.
rubble
Yes. Typo. 2023. At that price to replace battery with ACR, might as well purchase new.
