Ryanb1284
Any opinions on the best washdown hose and spray nozzle out there? I have a 2018 2200TRS with a built in pump and am in search of a good hose that wont mark up the deck and is durable etc. Thanks Ryan
fin-addict
The blue coiled type ones are good. Also like the fabric covered hoses that coils itself so to speak.
bernieNC
I like the white coiled hose. For a nozzle the cheap all plastic ones, you don’t want metal. By two nozzles and stash the extra one somewhere on the boat. https://www.amazon.com/Plastair-SpringHose-PUWE615B9-M-11S-AMZ-Drinking-15-Foot/dp/B004323RSI/ref=sr_1_7?hvadid=78615144855538&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvqmt=e&keywords=boat+washdown+hose&qid=1568887695&sr=8-7 https://www.amazon.com/Gilmour-Salt-Water-Marine-Nozzle/dp/B000FK008W/ref=pd_bxgy_263_img_2/130-9125981-4205347?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B000FK008W&pd_rd_r=85ce5025-1b5b-4d36-bc80-6a9be9273f3c&pd_rd_w=CV5xK&pd_rd_wg=0OwUX&pf_rd_p=a2006322-0bc0-4db9-a08e-d168c18ce6f0&pf_rd_r=CJZZCER5M3N82D7YMWFP&psc=1&refRID=CJZZCER5M3N82D7YMWFP
BradM
Buy the parts at Lowe's or Home Depot, and make your own with a piece of clear tube in 3/8" or 7/16" I.D. They're not self coiling, but the small I.D. keeps the pressure up, which is what I need more than volume.
CaptDavis
I use this one. I put a plastic nose cone nozzle at the end of it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3X-Stronger-Deluxe-Expandable-Flexible-Garden-Water-Hose-25ft-50ft-75ft-100ft/113442818899?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=413671604912&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

CaptDavis
Works great for me. Use it almost every day. Stores easy, or leave it out, and run it up and down the rod holders.
triplec
Brad is on point. Smaller ID. The smaller coiled hose hold the pressure better than the bigger if you go that route.

SCFD rtrd.
I bought a 25 ft. hose from Lowes for my washdown. It's one of those expandable hoses. I've had very poor luck with these expandable hoses at home, they just don't last very long. But, I figured it might be just the thing for the boat, because of the low pressure and volume produced by most wash-down pumps. The hose is about 5 years old, and still doing fine.
