Cmurphy
Hi, I am trying to replace the trim tab actuators on my 1995 maverick mirage. I have the 3 ring Bennett tabs currently that are broken. My questing is do I have enough mounting hight to switch to Lenco actuators? Or what have other people done in the past. Thanks Colin
HoneyB
I would call Bennett and ask about there electric tabs. Small chance you could do a actuator change and not make more holes.
MuddyBottomBluz
HoneyB is correct, Bennett has a conversion kit from hydraulic to electric. You can use the same mounting holes and the tab plates, run new wiring, DONE!
Cmurphy
I spoke to Bennett. The bolt electric actuators they sell are longer than the 3 ring Bennett tabs so it sounds like I’ll be drilling some holes with either the Lenco or Bennett conversion kits.
