I can't speak to improvements as I left Garmin to come to Lawrence but its sure nuff fine imaging. Josh B Posted October 21, 2019 Report Share Posted October 21, 2019 I have the Lowrance HDS Live, but not using the Active Imaging feature. For my style of fishing I don't really see the benefit. Maybe I'm missing something, but I've watched some of the videos and I see the benefit for the bass fishing world. Targeting specific fish with artificial lures in deeper water. I'm 100% saltwater fishing, about 90% of that on the flats in less than 4 feet of water. The offshore fishing I do is almost always bottom fishing. The only areas I really think I could benefit is wreck fishing for permit, Tarpon fishing in the passes... and maybe catching bait in deeper water. Josh B.
