Contender27t
I’m about to pull the trigger on a 2300HPS. A few months ago I installed a Rhodan 36v 84” trolling motor on our 36 Yellowfin. Am I crazy to think I could just take the Rhodan off the big boat and use on the Pathfinder? smilemaker
36 volt is what you need. The length may get in the way but the right installation angle might make it work.
FINCHASER
Not Crazy Im sure its work more than fine... only consideration would be shaft length and how far it extends which is dependent on what shaft length it is

Have done it on a GW Motorguide.
fishmanjj
Cut the shaft....measure twice....cut once.
Contender27t
Thanks for the input. I would use the same motor for both boats.
redzone1
$400k 36’ Yellowfin and you are thinking about swapping the trolling motor between the two boats....... For the price of a tank of gas on that offshore rig you could just buy another trolling motor that wouldn’t look like you had a periscope on the bow of the HPS
Contender27t
Yeah I know, just trying to look at every angle before I dive in.
fin-addict
In that case, get the proper size for the 2300 and leave the other as is.
