DavisIslander
I don’t remember the settings and researching only caused this old Chief to scratch his head. I’m running a 24vt trolling system (batteries forward) and a dual purpose 12vt aft. Dual battery died, it was old (2014) and I’ve replaced it. It starts Yamaha 115 plus runs all the electronics. So here’s my question: At what setting do I place my battery switch while charging at home and then when running the motor underway? Thanks, kicking my *** to do it right! Sunstone
I don't think it matters when plugged in at home it should charge all.
fishmanjj
At home with 110 volts.....it’s charging both.....when running, the Yamaha is only charging the battery you have the selector switch on. i normally run about half the day on 1 and then switch over to 2 for the ride back....hopefully keeping both charged. Just my two cents.

HoneyB
To verify your charging at home works without going through the switch each battery should have a small wire landing on the positive and negative terminal. to charge on the fly I’m guessing one of you trolling motor batteries are used as a backup to the starting battery. As stated above selecting that side of the switch will charge the battery it is hooked to but it will equalize with the other trolling motor battery as well.
