flfisher78
I have a 2014 2200 TRS with a 19" 3-blade prop on a F200XB, and I struggle to get max RPM's. It is a power tech prop with a good amount of cupping in the blades. I think I'd like to move to a 4-blade prop. Which ones are best and should I go with a 17" pitch? Thanks in advance, Jason
fishmanjj
My two cents of advice is to call Power Tech, ask for Marcus. Explain to him what you have, what you want to achieve and let him make recommendations....he is the owner and has many many years of experience with Pathfinders and Yamaha outboards...he also is on the forum as Funky Monkey.... his phone is 318-688-1970. Ext 241. If you miss him, all of those people there are very helpful. im running a OFX -4-17 ( four blade ) on a F150 and turning 5800 with my 2200XL
HoneyB
I ran a number of props on my 2200trs with a 200sho. There are good three blade props that should run on your boat. For the money I would try mercury emerita. It is a three blade prop that lifts the 22 trs very well. I also like the tempest plus they cost a little more

I have the same prop and max out about 5500 on my 2916 2200 trs with the F150. Four blade may not get the max speed but the hole shot is great and more important to me.
