I have concerns that I will not have clearance to remove the engine cowl under the poling platform. Anybody have one of these engines on an older Redfisher? I got the impression recently that there might be different platform heights on various redfishers. Make sure you compare the polling platform heights if you get motor dimensions from someone with the same engine. If you can find the Yamaha specs and compare it to the F90 four stroke (I'm pretty sure they are both in the same family of engine bodies), I would be happy to measure my F90 and my polling platform height if it will be of use.
