pbspecial
Just picked up a Simrad Side/down image transducer. Wondering if anyone has hung one of these off the back of a 2500 and if so can you post a few pics of location. Im also thinking about going with a step mount so that it sits up out of the way. Thoughts?
marzomi
i mounted mine on a transducer shield l barcket connected to my atlas jack plate. these things dont work at high speed so no sense drilling holes in ur transom. https://www.transducershieldandsaver.com/product/atlas-6-jack-plate-l-bracket-lb-at-6-r3/

finbully
Mount a second transducer forward of the steps. There is a spot for it on the 2500 under the batteries. That way, you will see bottom on plane. Here's a picture when mine was being built - I don't have any more and no longer have the boat so I can't take any more for you. The 3 in 1 transducer can be seen to starboard.
