whichwaysup
Hey all - I'm stumped. The PVC on my trailer guides needs replacing. The lights at the top have broken off and the plastic is very brittle. I can salvage the lights, but have to replace the plastic tubes. I ***umed they were just PVC pipe, but after several trips to lowes, I've discovered that they seem to be special size/thickness. Any idea where to get this style pipe? It has a very thin wall, maybe 1/16th of an inch, and the outer diameter is 2". It's got to be the same size, since it has to fit on the outside of the metal portion of the guide and inside of the light housing. Looks like this is the company that makes the kit: http://www.pipe-light.com/purchase.php and it is KIT #2 (LED) Add on with 10ft lead Product # 1019 I sent them an email, but would rather get it locally to avoid shipping. Thoughts?

SCFD rtrd.
Does the 2" pipe slide inside the light ***embly or slide over the outside?

Reel Loco
If the outside diameter is 2" and it's thin wall the pipe was most likely manufactured for use in the irrigation industry. My Pipe Lights were made for 2" nominal pipe size (2.375"OD) but yours may be different. RL
FINCHASER
I just ended up using sched 40 pipe and I like it better cause its a bit heavier and seems to ride better on the post. FYI the easiest way I found to get the lettering off PVC is to wet sand with 1000 grit
