Fish Food
I have the power knob from the manufacturer. I have noticed that lately it doesn't turn as freely as it once did. I was wondering the proper way to clean and/or lubricate it? I imagine I need to remove the steering wheel since it is permanently attached, after that I am not sure which lubricant is best since I don't know what ball bearings, etc., are in the power knob. Thanks for any help!
SCFD rtrd.
I'm not sure I'd go to all the trouble of pulling the wheel. Just spray some good quality lubricant between the knob and the stem. Probably have to keep some paper-towels on the dash for a few days to catch the runoff. I like Corrosion-X products. hurricane
Should be able to remove the cap and access the nut to remove the knob. Clean up corrosion and lube.
