n8vg8r Posted March 22, 2020 Report Posted March 22, 2020 Can someone recommend a product to lubricate the cooler slides for the cooler under my leaning post? It is very difficult to pull the cooler out from under the seat. see picture attached. Thanks, N8vg8r 2012 2400 TRS Quote
smilemaker Posted March 22, 2020 Report Posted March 22, 2020 Obviously stay away from petroleum style products. There are several Silicon based products such as boeshield and some garage door products designed to lubricate without collecting dust. These along with keeping it clean and free of oxidation. Quote
HoneyB Posted March 22, 2020 Report Posted March 22, 2020 Try reel magic . I don’t know if it will work but should be safe. Quote
bkh Posted March 24, 2020 Report Posted March 24, 2020 I have used Honda Shin-etsu grease for many auto and boat applications and love it for everything from rubber gaskets to aluminum/metal friction points. It lasts a while and stays in place. Quote
