Westhall55 Posted April 21, 2020 Report Share Posted April 21, 2020 I have a 2001 2200v. I have a Lowrance Elite 7 HDI that I have some questions about. I have heard that some of the factory hills came with transducers mounted in the hull by the bilge. I am unsure if the transducer pictured below is the one mounted from the factory. The one pictured is the HDI transducer and is the right one for Down Scan for my lowrance but I have never been able to get my down scan to work but sonar will work. I have had mixed reviews about whether down scan will work with a shoot threw hull transducer like the one below. Does anyone have any knowledge of this? Thanks so much! smilemaker Posted April 22, 2020 Report Share Posted April 22, 2020 The transducer that came from the factory on my 04 2200TE was a round puck style. The transducer in the picture appears to be a skimmer style epoxied in place(a common installation )but i would question factory installed.
