bigsnook35 Posted January 2, 2016 Report Share Posted January 2, 2016 I am underway on a refurbish/rebuild of a Hewes LT 20. I just wanted to know everyone's must haves and wish lists for flats boats. As I have yet to decide particulars yet. I have an idea but I am open to input. Also color combinations for the deck and the metal work. I will be having line-x sprayed on all the metalwork as well as the deck. Haven't decided on whether or not I am going to paint the hull or not. It currently has a horrendous wrap on it that I haven't removed yet to see the condition of the gel coat. Lap it Up Posted January 3, 2016 Report Share Posted January 3, 2016 Good luck on the rebuild! Those LT's were known for weak transom knees so take a good look when you pop the cap. I'm of the opinion that the more stuff you put on your boat, the more stuff breaks i.e. Fancy trolling motor, PP or Talon, etc. I have a hand control MK and a 10ft stick it.
