slyshon Posted May 5, 2020 Report Posted May 5, 2020 Walking through the plant this afternoon and stumbled onto this.... Skip 1 Quote
fishmanjj Posted May 5, 2020 Report Posted May 5, 2020 She looks very long.......maybe 26 or 28 Quote
hawg Posted May 5, 2020 Report Posted May 5, 2020 Johnny, What do you make of this? "I can make a broach or a pteradactyl or a....". Quote
jason p Posted May 6, 2020 Report Posted May 6, 2020 Looks kinda like my 2500 cap with aft fisboxes maybe, and without the split in the forward fish box (which is a plus I think) if that hatch behind the fish box is a forward live well (without a stand pipe) I’m in. Quote
jensenjeff Posted May 6, 2020 Report Posted May 6, 2020 I think it's safe to say that it's what nobody currently has but that many will certainly want! 1 Quote
TerryS Posted May 6, 2020 Report Posted May 6, 2020 Send it NE and I will give it a proper testing. 😀 Quote
smilemaker Posted May 6, 2020 Report Posted May 6, 2020 Guesding right at 30' Looking at the dolly it seems relatively flat vs deep v for offshore. With the side fish boxes i would guess Southern Florida nearshore tournament boat. Quote
jason p Posted May 7, 2020 Report Posted May 7, 2020 The Caribee ad says “2700 open” but it’s got that huge forward compartment like a raised deck bay boat/hybrid like my 2500. Come on Skip what’s the deal? You gotta at least give us a drawing of the deck. Quote

jason p Posted May 7, 2020 Report Posted May 7, 2020 Definitely... looks like a 2500 with an open rear deck and aft fishboxes, definitely cool looking layout Hopefully that big beautiful open fishing space in the back doesn’t get cluttered up with “family comfort features” Quote
Lap it Up Posted May 7, 2020 Report Posted May 7, 2020 Looks like a good amount of deadrise. I also hope they rig it with twins. Quote
jason p Posted May 7, 2020 Report Posted May 7, 2020 Looking at pics of the cap on THT I can’t imagine twins fitting on the back of that boat... could be wrong but it looks fairly narrow between the swim platform-like things on the transom. Still gonna be pretty BA for sure. Looking forward to seeing it. Quote

Twins would offer safer redundancy and sometimes even exceeds MPG's of a single. Especially that fat cow XTO. Us East Coast Florida guys like to shoot across to the islands. Two engines feels much safer. Quote

jason p Posted May 7, 2020 Report Posted May 7, 2020 You mean you wouldn’t feel crazy about having a single motor that needs five fuel pumps to make it run? Jeez what’s wrong with you guys?😉 1 2 Quote
Tall Tails Posted May 7, 2020 Report Posted May 7, 2020 97 gal of fuel won't feed twins for very long. Wish you guys would put the fuel capacity closer to the top of the priority list. Beautiful looking boat otherwise. Quote
FINCHASER Posted May 7, 2020 Report Posted May 7, 2020 No way theres room for twins..... I wonder if itll take a Yam 425...... Quote
geeviam Posted May 7, 2020 Report Posted May 7, 2020 IMO, the hull looks bigger in the picture than it may actually be because the guy standing next to it looks like a midget. I've got nothing against little people. That's just what it looks like. Could be a fish-eye lense on the camera I guess. Nice looking boat. Quote
FMB MEGALOPS Posted May 7, 2020 Report Posted May 7, 2020 Oh come on! It's easy. It's the new Master Angler!!! 🤪 Quote
