Wanaflatsfish Posted May 18, 2020 Report Share Posted May 18, 2020 Hello all, Would like to get some real world pictures. I am considering either an Ameritrail or a continental trailer for my MA17. Can any current owners or those who have had them in the past, please send side view pics of the skiff on the trailer. I am most interested in the height of the bottom of the skiff's gunnel to the pavement and how low in the wheel well the boat sits for launching shallow. I would like the lowest height to allow me to launch the negative or low tides in Chokoloskee and this information would help. I have two quotes in hand (one from Continental and the other Ameritrail) - all stainless, LED's etc. Ameritrail welded, Continental NOT...just trying to see if the Welded bunks and height justifies the $1900-2200 difference. I did as well....Ameratrail has been the standard for many years...
