Smoak352
Does anyone else have an issue on their 2400 with the hatch in the floor that is located behind the leaning post? I see a black gasket but nothing is staying dry in there. Any advice is appreciated.
ififish
I bought some gasket material off of ebay and used on all hatches and doubled it kn my forward floor hatch. Stays much more dry, but more importantly keeps all the dirt and leaves from washing into it now
PMartin2400TRS
It’s a wet storage, for cast-net etc..

bernieNC
That is why I have never been a fan of in floor storage. Fish boxes sure but it stops there for me.

My front step storage (the insulated one) drains to the bilge as well. I use for a fish box on near shore trips. I don’t mind the back one going to the bilge, but it’s weird the fish box does as well. I’ll usually throw some bleach down there when I clean the boat up after using the fish box
pbspecial
I had my fishbox drained directly out of the hull with a thru-hull fitting, from the factory...no macerator pumps, just drains straight out...works great and no fish guts i the bildge
bernieNC
It’s not a fish box if it drains to the bilge. Not in my book anyway.

I found it weird only one of them has a locking hatch.
NCTribute
Front livewell fills with rain water and the drain is in the front, what genius designed that? How many people keep their boat on a trailer with the front end down? At least the leaky floor hatches have the drain in the rear. The two long rod hatches have the lowest spot in the rim at the rear outside corner, water just sits there forever, again lousy design. Unless major improvements are made this is definitely my last MBG boat, plus their pricing has gotten ridiculous compared to the competition.
