SeaClaw Anchor

I am thinking of upgrading my anchor to a SeaClaw. Is it worth the money?

I fish mostly Biscayne Bay  and the Keys which tend to have hard bottoms.

Be sure you get the correct one...from Capt Kevin in St. Pete if I'm not mistaken....great anchor...

What size vessel?

I had the 12# on my Pathy with a 6 foot chain, I could hold in 100 feet in the keys...

Definitely worth it.  Make sure to use the link.  There are imitations that are not nearly as nice.  Get the real thing.

I've had a 12 lb. Sea Claw from Capt. Kevin for about 18 yrs. It's the only thing I removed from my old boat when I sold it.

I have a 17' MA so I was thinking to get the 12# one.

I have the imitation one, it looks like crap, but it holds, from use. was given to me so the price was right, Fort Myers marine have the stainless steel one..

Thats awesome... My 8lb is the only thing I kept from my HPX.

I have the 12#. Great anchor. Never used a chain ,but I don`t usually fish deep water.
