Magnum
Anyone tow tubes with their Pathfinder? Looking for help. I've tried it, but the tube just sprays water in the kid's faces because of how low the stern eyes are located. Anyone have any ideas? smooth move
i pull a tube with my 02 2200V. no problems. seems to me the height of the tow eyes would be less important than the location of the eye on the tube.
jh141
Three leg ski pylon. attwood 903-008-T-S Swivl-Eze Polished Stainless Steel Fixed Height 29-Inch Ski Pylon People say if you put a float on the pull rope it helps. Never tried it.
HoneyB
Well I was poised to say I have seen a ball thing tied in line between the boat and the tube. It’s purpose is to get the rope up out of the water but if you google “tow rope booster” you will see that is a hundred dollar bill! Wow! I have the same issue with my rope but I swing it side to side quite a bit so the rope is not just dragging and spraying the kids. In thinking about it, I wonder if we used a ski rope rather than the Heavy towable rope if it would be better. I think I am going to try it the next time I pull the tube. smilemaker
Not an easy job but a ski pylon is the best way to tow.
Magnum
After some research and previous post, I ordered the Airhead ORB. I'll post results when I get a chance to use it. https://www.airhead.com/products/orb
wthree3
I used to submarine my kids when pulling them with my Master Angler. Guess that's why I never got too many "dad let's go tubing" requests. 🤔 Once they learned to shift their weight back on the take-off it worked fine (though less entertaining for me). #bestdadever
