Flybrandon
On a 2300HPS is the 24V iPilot enough motor? How long can you fish with it? 1/2 day?
redzone1
If you fished SE Ga and NE Fl like I do, then the 80 lb would be worthless on that boat if you were fishing anywhere near the inlets on outgoing tide.
Bamaskeet
My experience with a 24V trolling motor is good for most applications except very heavy current.
Zlenart
I have a 24v on mine. It will hold the anchor function in very heavy current, but at full speed you're not moving very quickly against a heavy current. I think it's definitely adequate, but a 36v would be ideal. On a 23HPS,I would have nothing less than a 36V. It's big and heavy platform.... Before I sold my Pathfinder 22, I had a 36V on it and it was great....I could almost water ski from behind it at 10X. dc
Wahoossi
I had a MK on my Pathfinder 24 TE in SE Georgia. It was fine working a shoreline but barely adequate against current. I have a 36 V Ulterra on my Contender Bay 25 and it gets the job done better.
