Adding seats to 1810V...which pedestal base?

I want to add two seats to the rear bulkhead of my 1810V.  There are already two pilot/drill divots from the factory and I've seen others with the 3/4" pin base pedestals like bass boats use installed in those locations (see below).

These seats will be used without a post (seat directly installed in base) for passengers to ride in and will also be used for fishing with an 11" pedestal post. I was concerned the 3/4 base wouldn't be strong enough for underway seating, but I rode in a friend's Scout sport fisher and the helm/passenger seat were in  3/4" bases from the factory (without an extension post).  This setup will give me a place to stow my front seat while not fishing and add two seats for occasional passengers.  Just want to make sure the 3/4" will be sufficient before I start drilling holes in my boat.

Similar setup for reference...
