Does the alternator charge the trolling motor batteries?

I have this battery switch on my boat and I can turn it to "combine" and use the 3 trolling motor batteries to start the boat if the 1 house battery is low. 

My question is, when on this setting is the alternator charging the trolling motor batteries as well?

I don't know the answer, but you could use a meter to determine if the outboard is charging the trolling motor battery. More then likely, only one trolling motor battery is combined with the house battery when the switch is in the combine position. Again, you would have to have a volt meter to determine which trolling motor battery is connected.

Most Yamahas can be wired to charge two batteries.

I’m going with this.

if you get a Stealth DC charger your alternator will charge all of them.
