18' HPX-V Prop

After massive prop testing I have 3 props that I stayed with and that I use on my 18’ HPX -V with 115 SHO combo . Most of the time I run a Yamaha Pro series K-21 that is no longer made , I have a PT Pro 3 in a 21 pitch that performs very close to the Yamaha for back up in case I bump my Yamaha . Those two props will lose a small amount of grip in turns which does feel the way you described ( doesn’t bother me) . My third prop that I have and run in super shallow water situations is a highly modified Mercury Spitefire X-7 21 pitch .  A stock 19 pitch Mercury Spite fire would work if you watch your RPMs at WOT . If losing a little grip in the turns bothers you the Merc Spitefire does have more grip on my boat when making a sharp turn than the PT pro 3 and Yamaha pro 3 have . Hope this info helps . Joe R
