Wanaflatsfish
On my MA17, 1995, the rod holders are integrated into the gunnels. I have stripped out all the old carpet around the rod holders and stripped out the carpet from under the gunnels. I plan on replacing the carpet under the gunnels (don't want to have go to SEADECK), and will paint the rod holders black. Has anyone used the Rustoleum products? I see online they use them for fiberglass on cars (corvettes etc.) any experience? DC
MuddyBottomBluz
This is what I have been using and this is what HoneyB (his picture actually) painted the rims on his trailer with. I have had great results with it. I also use dupli-color engine enamel. Because it is made for engines and high heat conditions it bonds really well! RacerxV6
This is what I used on a Mercury 40HP Tiller that I sold recently. After I sanded and primed, I used this and got unbelievable results. You have top be careful thought because it will have a tendency to run on you if your not careful. But the results were amazing. No need to clear as it was a mirror finish.
