Shalowminded Posted September 8, 2020 Report Share Posted September 8, 2020 I am looking to add some rod holders to the gunnels on my 23 HPS, which has under gunnel rod storage. The clearance between the underside of the gunnel to a medium sized spinner rod placed in the top rod holder in the under gunnel storage is only about 6". Has anyone found short tube rod holders or found a workaround like using spacers that will work? Show me what you all have done, thanks in advance. Shalowminded Posted September 8, 2020 Author Report Share Posted September 8, 2020 I thought of that and that would be a last resort if there aren't any short tube holders out there. Also would more than likely lose the lock pin at the bottom of the rod holder, which keeps the rod from spinning and going in all the way down to the reel. Thanks Fin!
