Davej
I've thought about asking this question 100 times, but I didn't want to sound stupid, but here goes. I have a 2016, 18' Redfisher. Anytime I use the live well, and want to drain it, I have to unscrew the stand pipe....does that make sense ?, or am I doing something wrong? I don't use it that often, but it is a PITA unscrewing the pipe and then screwing it back in when I do. Thoughts?
Guest DavidG
Dave, I’m hoping you get a answer as well because like you say it’s a PITA! Feels like there’s 100 threads on that tube lol...David
slyshon
Yes, that is the only way to drain the well. You can cut down the threads on the standpipe. Skip

Skip Hey Skip, does it drain overboard or into the bilge?

bigsnook35
You should be able to unscrew it most of the way without taking it all the way off. Then it will drain around the threads.
