OldestCityLocal
Does everyone run a 20in shaft on their master angler? Looking at getting a 25in shaft, my current motor is a 20in but it runs 3 degrees hot mechanic suggested I go with a 25in shaft to be on safe side. Wanted to see if anyone is running a 25in? redzone1
Absolutely do not put a 25” shaft motor a 21 MA. The boat has a 20” transom. Find a more knowledgeable mechanic.
HoneyB
I would find another mechanic and a 20 inch replacement engine. In that order.

Capt. Troy
I have hung a total of 7 20 inch shaft engines on the 21. Never ever had a 20 inch shaft over heat. The boat was designed for a 20 inch shaft engine.
MuddyBottomBluz
I think after this information you should feel safe staying with a 20" motor, heck I am and I don't even own a 21 mav!

Are you getting a new motor because your old one runs three (3) degrees hot? Surely there's more to it than that??
