I tried using the standard stuff - goo gone....NADA I then went with the recommendation from the previous thread - Contractors Solvent - found at Boat Owners Warehouse or ACE I also used Citrus Strip found at Home Depot - It took about 3 days off and on....I would spray it on and then leave it sit....some times I would leave it over night. I went through about 20 small towels from Home Depot. The end result is seen here.....I used spray adhesive and the TACO Marine black trim.... The results I have here are temporary and I"ll be putting a more refined solution sometime in the future when I really upgrade the skiff.. I used home depot outdoor carpet. I needed to really clean up the deck as it a lot of solvent it from the adhesives....so, I scrubbed it and then sealed it with some good woody wax. Had a few minutes and I was able to put on a coat of wax as I ran the engine in the tub for about 20 minutes in fresh water.... will put on a bonnet on her later and she'll be off to sleep for a few days DC 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
