Tall Tails
Contact Gemlux. They sent me free replacements. Use them enough and every hinge on the boat will lose its "friction". Now I just replace the ones on the live well. The rest aren't worth trying to keep up with.

Docsuds
For those that replaced these hinges - was it as simple as unscrew/ unbolt old ones, screw/bolt new ones? Or do they need adhesive/sealant or anything? Plan to replace hinges on 2500 live well and fish box. Emailed gemlux today to try and get part #s thanks for any info! scott
HoneyB
It will not hurt to dab some adhesive sealant around on the screws and under the hinge
