Currituck Posted March 6, 2021 Report Share Posted March 6, 2021 25 years with boat trailers and NO brakes left me ill prepared to remember to disconnect the safety cable for the brakes on the 2019 Ameratrail dual axle trailer. So, the cable is broken and I cannot tell if the brakes are locked or not. What does the dangling clip in the picture tell me? If it is locked how do I reset? Oh the shame. Currituck Posted March 10, 2021 Author Report Share Posted March 10, 2021 Thanks for the input. I did find 'Dexter' stamped into the surge assembly and that allowed me to locate a manual.
