Fishtails
I have used basic lock and keys but the lock soon becomes crudded up and will not work. Has anyone found a logical way to secure it?
RacerxV6
Fishtails, my lock is currently only about 6 months old and I regularly spray it with Houdini Lock lube..but to answer your question lock and key .
THE OUTLAW
I bought a bike D lock and a 6’ security cable . I looped the cable thru my spare and pull it up to my troller and slide the D lock just above the motor , between the motor and the mount . Keeps tire and troller safe n sound all night . 🇺🇸🏴☠️

THE OUTLAW
Sorry , it is dark , but I tried . So when the lock is not in use , it is wrapped around the winch stand . When I need it , I unwrap it and lock my troller up . This set up is easy and in my opinion is way more theft Deterrent than a lil ol lock . Besides , my mount does not have that style set up . Hope this helps ! 🇺🇸🏴☠️

Popular Post fishmanjj
The crooks in South Georgia have bolt cutters..even the cheap Harbour Freight ones.....and they will cut that cable like anchor rope. I agree with Whichwaysup in that more simple to just take it off and put in garage if possible. Of course we also have pit bulls and AR ‘s which also can deter a crook.

I only have it locked down when in use, or away from home like on the water over night...

Unless I am seeing it wrong, 4 small Philips head screws and that lock is off.

I am a big fan too, this was my first one I bought after being brought up shooting them. Its a Henry .22mag. Great coyote/hog gun.

I have an old 30-30 short mag Glenfield that is probably my favorite rifle to carry afield.
