tha5150
Found the perfect picture of what i am looking for, local guy selling his boat. side mounted rod holder in the rear. if you have an older Pathy, you will know what i mean by, there is limited space for one of these to fit. there is a big lip on the outside and flush on the inside and i truly have no idea what size this would be or which specific one i need to by.. or how far to drill the hole from inside the deck. would a 15 or 30 degree be the one i need? also the front side seats, id like to put on here and not sure which degree i would need on this, or if it would fit from the speaker being here. i would like to also use this as a back rest for when the family is riding, makes perfect sense to use this area. Bamaskeet
There is very little space between the liner and the hull in boats built before 2002. I have heard of people mounting rod holders in the gunnels but most people think it’s to tight to take a chance of screwing it’s up.
imsnookyrd
http://www.leetackle.com/sidemountrodholders.html This what I did on my 2001, mounted back by the rear bulkhead. They are top quality and are not in the way at all. I was cautioned by the dealer when I purchased the boat that there was not enough room to use a gunnel mount.
