Flatschaser
I love my 01 2200v but this anchor locker is a eyesore for me personally. Does anyone have a creative idea to repurpose it or hide it? Something to make it look better? Truthfully I could do without it since I use my trolling motor with spot lock. I could easily keep a anchor in the side hatch. Anyone have any creative ideas?
SouthernWake
If you can throw money at it, take it to a glass shop and tell them you want a flush mount hatch matching the deck, or to just glass over the whole thing and eliminate it.
lurem
If you are a live bait fisherman is there any way to get some plumbing up there like the TE models and make it a small pitchwell to hold a few baits so you don't have to walk to the rear livewell everytime? SCFD rtrd.
Every boat that MBC makes and most others have an anchor locker in the exact same place. I don't quite understand the "eye-sore" part. One day you will want to upgrade to a newer boat and sell your existing boat, think about re-sale. I can only assume that most boat owners want an anchor locker.
HoneyB
Looks like it belongs on that era of boat to me. It matches the hatch in the picture. Dedicated anchor storage is something I have always looked for when looking at boats. I will agree between spot lock and power pole pulling the anchor out is few and far between. fin-addict
Leave it be, good choice. Weather you use the anchor or not while fishing is your choice. The anchor is part of you emergency items and should always be on board and easy to access. JMO. 😀👍⚓️🙏fin
