Admiral2
Purchased 2003 Pathfinder 1900V last year. Want to purchase jack plate for boat. What brand, model, size setback do you recommend?

HoneyB
I have seen people that say the 1900v and the 2000v hulls run better without the setback. Unless you want the ability to just jack it up when in shallow water. I think Bobs is preferred across the inter web. Different strokes different folks. I would likely stay with a six inch set back just because people say they run good without the setback.
HewesYourDaddy
I have a 6in setback Bob's on my 1900T. Works great without any issues. I would recommend a jackplate on any bay boat if you actually use it to fish.
jh141
I would minimize the setback as much as possible. A 4" setback would be my choice on a 1900 V. Can not go wrong with a Bobs. Now with their self contained actuator they are every bit as good as Atlas.
