I'm guessing they're hoping people submit deposits unknowingly that the boat is not actually owned by the person they're paying? Would make sense considering how insane this used boat market is. I don't necessarily understand the schematics of it, but I think those bots have a way of stealing your information from any info you provide in the e-mail you send them saying you're interested.
