Popular Post Wanaflatsfish Posted July 11, 2021 Popular Post Report Share Posted July 11, 2021 Weather looked good... Capt Don H was ready at the WAWA at 0430 and we were ready to go. With the new 40 gallon tank I wanted to run down to Lostman's river and Highland Beach. No trophy pics, but, we got on a bite for about 1 hour and the snookletes were on fire. We were able to see about 25 little guys waiting to grow up.....a few in the 24-25 inch range, but most in the 18-2 0 size. Here's a pic of the Ghost with the bimini up....and Capt Don H enjoying the day out of the sun....I have several positions on the deck and with it in stern position, its comfortable to fish off the bow on the casting platform. THE OUTLAW Posted July 11, 2021 Report Share Posted July 11, 2021 We saw yall South of Lostmans . Cant miss Da Ghost , There was way too many boats out , in that area yesterday . Made it difficult to find a place , that has not been pounded . About 1:00 , it got calm enough , to scout for Permit , and we only saw one giant , but be did not eat . The boat probably got 20 snook and several trout . It was a harder day than I thought it would be . Thank you.....I went all stainless...it's heavy as heck, but, it does not sway when you are at cruise....DonH and were running home at 27-28...easy peasy ride - cool and smooth.....DonH always falls asleep and I need to keep an eye on him so he doesn't just roll off the side when we are running up in the bights it runs so smooth I got mine from a shop up here in FLL......not inexpensive...about $1200 not installed....@ Outlaw made me a custom holder off the platform so it's 100% out of the way when fishing off the stern. dc 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
