Grassbottom
I have a 2001 16ft Hewes and it has always had water spraying up the transom on both sides has anyone ever experienced the same problem I have the 200 90HP Yamaha that I am going to re-power with a 90 4 stroke within a few months or so and I don't want that to persist. BTY I am ISO a aluminum or stainless polling platform to replace my powder coated one. Thanks
HoneyB
Mine did does that when trimmed all the way down. I once moved the motor down one hole to try to keep the prop from blowing out in turns and the spray was horrible. I picked the motor back up one hole. Now I do not have a lot of spray if the motor is trimmed out just a touch but I do have to trim down for sharper turns to keep from blowing the prop out. dabear
Motor could be low. Water coming off the transom could be hitting a add on part like a transducer attached to the transom . Water may be hitting the push pole .
