APKTRS
I am am extremely happy owner of a 21 2600TRS. Took her out yesterday for the first time and turned the live well on, port side aft, to get bait. That pump had the shiners happy it pumped so much water, but there’s an issue. The only overflow drainage, is a small hole on the rim of the well, which leads to a small hose that runs out the transom. So if we stopped to fish, the boat would fill with overflow water, and we would run, and it would clear the deck. Am I missing something? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. SCFD rtrd.
Not sure why anyone would plum a live-well with no drain. The little drain you are referring to is not the drain for the live-well. It is just a small drain to remove any rain or wash-down water. Look in your other live-wells, you should see a 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" hole in the floor of the live-well, this is where you install the over-flow-drain tube.
