gtrfred Posted January 3, 2022 Report Share Posted January 3, 2022 After all kinds of digging and cameras, I see that there is a pull string inside the console that goes into a wire run (along with the nav light wire) and heads to the bow. When I stick my head into the forward casting deck area, i can see there the nav light wire and the pull string exit. The nav light wire comes forward and then heads under my glued in carpet liner. (did i ever mention i hate the carpet). The pull string goes from starboard to port. I cannot reach the pull string, but touched it with a stick. The port end feels like it goes into something.
