mavpete
YOU COULD BE GETTING CONDENSATION IN YOUR TANK,I ALWAYS KEEP MY TANK TOPPED OFF AND USE FUEL SATBILIZER ALL WHEN POSSIBLE.
jason p
Call MBC and they'll be able to straighten you out with a part number. Before you remove it make sure there is an o-ring on the screw cap, if not that's probably your problem. If it's a Perko deck plate they're readily available and fairly simple to replace. After you remove the screws loop some PowerPro under the flange and pull both ends in opposite directions to cut the sealant and it should pop out. hurricane
This is a good thing to think about checking, its something that just never crossed my mind. I haven't had any water in my fuel but next time I gas up, I will inspect the o-ring. I hope the o-ring is the cause for you BTP21.
Geaux Time
I had the same issue regarding water getting into tank. Changed the O-ring. Time will tell if that did the trick
Mirage
Make sure you check the overflow fitting coming out the side of the hull. Mine failed and was allowing water in the tank.
