Water in fuel/Gas cap failure

Recommended Posts

Call MBC and they'll be able to straighten you out with a part number. Before you remove it make sure there is an o-ring on the screw cap, if not that's probably your problem.

If it's a Perko deck plate they're readily available and fairly simple to replace. After you remove the screws loop some PowerPro under the flange and pull both ends in opposite directions to cut the sealant and it should pop out.
