Most I have seen are rigged with a 300, but the motor options from Pathfinder are either the 250 SHO or 300. I found a performance bulletin for the boat with a 300, but not the 250 SHO. If you really like the boat, Get it. The VF 250 SHO has plenty of power for a 24 trs. If you are not happy with the performance then for under a thousand you can Flash the ECU to 325 hp. Get the 4.2L 200 and save money. Then contact Nizpro and have it flashed to 325hp. Anyone with experience and performance numbers on the 2400 Pathfinder TRS with 250 SHO motor? The 250 SHO is a great motor for this vessel. I ran a PowerTech OFX4 19 pitch prop on mine. Fuel economy was over 4 mpg with light load at cruising speeds. WOT all trimmed out was 54-55 MPH, around 52 if I kept the trim all the way down. Cruise at 3400-3600 RPM in the low to mid 30 MPH range. You'll find the jack plate is more useful than trim. Hoping this helps. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
