RodWorks
I wanted to replace these 6 breakers because one is cutting in and out occasionally, but I can't find a replacement. The new CLB Series are like half the size and have #8 screws instead of #10's. Looking for ideas on what people have done for replacements. jh141
I have not run across your dilemma. Had I run across this situation I would order the replacements that match the the exact specs and adapt them to the panel. These are what I found. I guess these are the replacements??? https://marinepartssource.com/circuit-breaker-blue-sea-2137?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvNPInYqj9gIVIRfUAR0irAQoEAQYBiABEgKEaPD_BwE

The overall size isn't the issue, but they changed to #8 screws too. Every lug connection will be loose. Hate to create more issues with bad connections. jh141
Do not know if its doable but, I have used SS washers in the past when I ran across screws on components that had a small head size for some reason. Only other fix is replacing the lugs. Pacer Group has for example #8 stud for 10 AWG wire, or #10 stud for 10 AWG wire Example: https://www.pacergroup.net/ring-terminals-for-12-awg-10-awg-wire/
RodWorks
May switch to this style breaker as it has #10 screws and is the same size as the old style CLB. Have to modify the front panel is all.
RodWorks
Considering this route as well. https://www.bluesea.com/products/7748/SafetyHub_150_Fuse_Block
jh141
I like your breaker choice. You just have to build a panel insert out of Lexan or thin starboard. Draw back of the fuse block is having to actually replace the fuse instead of just resetting the breaker. I am not a fan of the push button breakers. I am forever resetting my own Trim Tab breaker. When it is time to redo my own panel those panel mount breakers are what I will use.
RodWorks
I actually already used one for the trolling motor at the bottom. Just had to enlarge the hole and drill two screw holes.
