Anything over the 150hp adds a great deal of weight to the stern? over the years they have upgraded the design, hatches, hardtop etc. what changes are real improvements and what ones are more cosmetic. jh141 Posted March 27, 2022 Report Share Posted March 27, 2022 What years are you looking at? IMO the newer 2200's 2010 to present are best served by the 200 - 250 Yamaha SHO. On my 2012 the stern weight is not a concern. I have the 4.2 L SHO. I have experienced a 2009 2200 with a F 150 Yamaha and it did very well with a two man load.
