Popular Post Ron in Atlanta Posted May 23, 2022 Popular Post Report Share Posted May 23, 2022 We spent a few days on the Coast last week, perfect weather and the Spring tides brought the Horseshoe Crabs up to the beach to lay eggs and attract Red Knots and other shore birds in uncountable numbers. Horseshoe Crabs mating Shore birds feasting. First shot is of Red Knots, they migrate from Arctic to Antarctic and back every year. A Whimbrel, Raccoon Key Snowy Egret A Sanderling (jogging) Black Skimmer does a fly-by A Killdeer at the boat ramp On the Altamaha River, an Osprey delivers a load of Spanish Moss to the nest Miss Laurie anchored just off the beach The Georgia Coast, just beautiful. 5 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
